HomeMeet Our Ambassadors

Our ambassadors are a huge part of representing who we are and what we do at Oil 4 Wales.

Our ambassadors are a huge part of representing who we are and what we do at Oil 4 Wales.

They join us at our charity events, they get involved with our community projects, and you will definitely see them popping up on our social media quite a lot, too!

Gareth Wyn Jones

Gareth Wyn Jones is a, self proclaimed, ‘father of three, husband to one’. He spends most of his time in the beautiful Welsh countryside and you will probably recognise him from BBC’s ‘The Farm’ and numerous Welsh shows around the country.

Rob Evans

As well as being a Wales international Rugby Union Player, Rob Evans is also playing for the Scarlets. He also describes himself as a ‘casual farmer’ – and does lots of outdoorsy events with us at Oil 4 Wales.

Dan Lydiate

Dan Lydiate is an Ospreys flanker and a player for the Wales international team, too! He looks forward to being a ‘future farmer’ and spends a lot of time at various charity events with Oil 4 Wales.

Gareth Davies

Both a Welsh international team and Scarlets player, Gareth Davies is a proud Welsh rugby figure who of course speaks fluent Welsh. We love having him join us at the Welsh summer shows as well as other events throughout the year.

Ken Owens

Ken Owens is a Welsh international rugby player as well as a hooker for the Scarlets, too. He spends a lot of time working with and supporting charitable causes and is a patron of Autism Directory as well as being an Oil 4 Wales ambassador.

Scott Quinnell

“Can be seen on TV” – Scott Quinnell is a regular commentator and appears on Sky Sports and more! Scott is a former rugby union player, playing for the Welsh international team and the Lions.

Dafydd Jones

Dafydd Jones is a former player for the Welsh international team as well as the Scarlets. Since retiring from rugby he has joined us at Oil 4 Wales!

Jonathan (Fox) Davies

Not to be confused with Jonathan Not-Fox Davies, Jonathan (Fox)is a professional Welsh rugby player, playing as centre for the Scarlets and on the International team. Fun fact: he’s names ‘Fox’ after the Fox & Hounds Pub his parents ran when he was a child.

Robin McBryde

Robin McBryde is a former rugby star, playing for the Welsh international team as well as the Scarlets. As well as being an Oil 4 Wales ambassador, Robin also had the honoured duty of being the Grand Sword Bearer of the Welsh National Eisteddfod.

Neil Jenkins

“Just a normal working class guy at the end of the day” – Neil Jenkins is a current rugby union coach and used to play for various Welsh and Irish teams back at the peak of his rugby playing career!

Max Boyce

Comedian, singer, entertainer – Max Boyce is multi-talented Welsh performer with a passion for storytelling and, of course, rugby! You may see him on TV or on some kind of stage anywhere in the world!

Scot Williams

Scot Williams is an Ospreys Centre and Wales First team regular; known for is scathing runs and top class lines. Off the field he is a real petrol head and motorsport fan. He has a big future in the game!

Samson Lee

Samson Lee is a Swansea boy currently playing for the Scarlets as well as the Welsh International Team! Being 5″9 of pure rugby-tackling muscle, unsurprisingly, Samson is quoted to be “an immovable object in the scrum”. You’ll find Samson at many of our community events getting stuck into the fun and action alongside his Scarlet teammates!

Dan Biggar

The youngest player to reach 100 games, winner of the BBC Cymru Sports Personality of the Year Award – we can almost forgive Dan for leaving the Ospreys for the Northhampton Saints! Despite his move, Dan is still a loved player for the Welsh International team and we are glad to have him on our ambassador team.

Think you’d make a great Oil 4 Wales ambassador?
