We are asking all of our customers to please be vigilant as unfortunately, we have had reports of scammers targeting the community.
At the moment it seems that the scammers are making telephone calls, claiming to be arranging boiler cover. A few people have reported that they claim there has been a price change and ask for bank details so that they can alter a direct debit. Some have even reported receiving texts claiming that an engineer will be calling over to carry out a service.
Oil4Wales staff will always provide you with their name and contact details, and will be more than happy for you to call the depot/office to verify that details are correct and that there is a legitimate reason for a call.
Please be vigilant, and if you look after any elderly or vulnerable people, please make them aware too.
