Ospreys fly-half Dan Biggar is the latest Welsh international rugby player to join Oil 4 Wales as a brand ambassador.

The Swansea-born player, who made his Welsh debut at the age of 19 against Canada in 2008, joins Wales’ current kicking coach Neil Jenkins and Welsh International players Ken Owens, Dan Lydiate, Rhys Priestland, Ryan Jones, Jonathan Davies and former Welsh International Dafydd Jones to support the independent oil distribution company.

As the oil brand for Wales, Oil 4 Wales has a strong affiliation with Welsh rugby sponsoring the Scarlets, Newport Gwent Dragons, Ospreys and Cardiff Blues teams, as well as supplying some of the country’s leading players.

Colin Owens, managing director of Oil 4 Wales, said: “We are a proud Welsh company and are delighted to be able to support Welsh rugby. Our slogan is ‘working with the community, for the community’ and having brand ambassadors on board like Dan is a great way to thank our loyal customers. Dan’s commitment and passion for Welsh rugby is exactly the same ethos we have at Oil 4 Wales so we know he will be a great addition to the team. We’re looking forward to taking him to our future Oil 4 Wales events in local communities.”

Dan added: “Oil 4 Wales has experienced impressive growth since it launched in 2011. It has the Welsh community at its heart and it’s a great family, friendly company to be involved in. It’s clear from the events Oil 4 Wales has run that its brand ambassadors are well received in the local community. I’m looking forward to being a part of the company as it continues its expansion plans in the future.
