Yesterday evening, Prime Minister Rishi Sunak announced a number of changes to the Governments energy and green policies.
The announcement featured changes to a key policy that affects those living in off-grid homes using heating oil: The ban on oil boilers has been pushed back from 2026 to 2035.
This is good news for those who were worrying about replacing their oil boiler before the initial deadline of 2026, and will now give families much needed time to upgrade the way they heat their homes which is more suited to them.
